DPRK news agency has taken a harsh stance on the South claiming they are just puppets of the USA and other nations.

The power succession in Noth Korea will effect our world in many adverse ways. I intend to provide a none bias outlook on the change of power that will take place in the country. Kim Jong Il is getting old and as such he is most likely going to pass on power to his son Kim Jong-un who the rest of the world knows little about.

Continuation of Conflict
The South Korean leader has be rather harsh on the North for their attack threatening war. Many nations disagree with this statement saying that it was out of anger and the South truly wishes to avoid armed conflict. The South has reinforced it's position on the islands off the Korea Peninsula and started to take part in a massive show of force with the USA. The situation does not seem favourable to the North, however they do partially have China's support. It is possible that the Korea War could resume and redraw the lines of the Cold War.

Recent Attack on South Korea
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-11-23/north-korea-s-attack-on-southern-island-draws-criticism-from-u-s-europe.html
After the recent attack on South Korea the possibility of the Korean War resuming is an ever present risk. For those who are unaware, the war never officially ended, the two nations have an armistice. Though who started the engagement is unclear, it looks as if the most likely result will be a strongly worded statement from the UN but nothing more.
